John Jackson first met Dr Jay when he visited the USA five years ago. Dr Jay stayed with he and his wife and the first thing the church did was give it's building fund to ICMC. John visited the 1500 children in India and came back with a zeal that led to annual short-term missions trips, a joint venture with the Arizona team to manage US sponsorships and a close friendship with Dr Jay.

“I have known Dr Jay and his family since high school. My husband and I watched ICMC grow from 12 children fifteen years ago, to 200, to 2,000 today. For me, this is a journey of truly Experiencing God where His name is being made known where it was not known before. Faith. Living dangerously for God. Giving God a big bucket to fill. Believing when there is not a possible way for anyone to come through, but God. And then He does it. This is why I am involved passionately with ICMC. It’s like dabbling in a mix of New Testament Acts miracles and the Old Testament stories blended together. God put the desire and ability in my heart to help. And so I do. “I have been involved with the ICMC since 1999 when I sponsored a child. My involvement has grown to include a visit to the ICMC and seeing the the needs of the children, orphans, widows and lepers first hand. Now, I am encouraged by the continued blessing from all over the world in this important mission which is a light shinnig in the darkness. Many needs remain and I am working and encourage others to work to meet them. If not you, then who?”
