The good Lord was so good to us throughout this month. We thank all the sponsors and donors for their support and prayers for our children.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) was conducted at St. Basil School from the 3^rd to the 5^th of May. Many children participated in it and were blessed. At Eden Garden too Pr. Panneerselvam conducted VBS for three days in May second week. In our village churches too VBS was conducted in May.

On the second of May the children who had not been to their native place for their summer vacation were taken to Mettur for a picnic. All the children and wardens enjoyed this picnic.
We had a special prayer meeting on the funeral day (4.5.07) of our dearest sister Mrs. Tineke Nieuwkerk of Holland. We prayed much for her beloved husband Rev. Andre Nieuwkerk and their children.
Dr. Jay went to Hyderabad to meet pastor Sathyanandham on the 4th night and returned on the 7th morning.
+2 Board examination results were published on the 14th. Out of the 20 students of the House of Peace 17 got passed. D.Gurujothi (Sponsored child of Mr. & Mrs. Miguel Fernandez from USA) scored 1006/1200 and got the 1st place in his school. He has applied for engineering. Others also have applied for different college and Technical courses. We thanked the Lord for His grace and blessing upon our children.
On the 29th Dr. Mike Webster, his wife and children arrived at our centre. Their visit has been a blessing to all our children and staff.
On the 31st the results of the X Board exams were published. 85% from St.Graham Memorial High School got passed with high scores. R. Mageshwaran got 428/500 and stood first at our school. 75% got passed at Salem Centre and Eden Garden. At St. Basil Matric School one of the 5 boys got failed in Maths. So the result is 80% pass. Our school Topper is S. Senthilkumar. (Sponsored child of Mr. & Mrs. Byrd & Buddy Underground from USA) 811/1100. In other classes 98% of our children got promoted to higher classes.
The children who went for vacation came back to the House of Peace in the last week of May. Readmission started in the last week of May. New children have been admitted since the second week of May. We had been so busy during this month as we had to pre-plan and get ready for the new academic year 2007-2008.
Repairing, painting and building work is going on in all the three places.
Registration was going on for Timothy school too in May’07.
