During this month
House of Peace children who went
home for summer vacation returned
the orphanage in the first week of
June. Some came back in the second
week, some returned in the third
week and in the fourth week. Some
got their Transfer Certificate and
were transferred from the Promised
Land to Salem Centre.

All the schools
reopened on June 4.
-
On June 6, we had a
Thanksgiving service at St. Basil
Matriculation School. All the
teachers participated in it. It was
real blessing to everyone who
attended.
-
New children were
admitted in the 3 places. During
June we have admitted nearly 400 new
children.
-
Purchasing uniform
materials, books and notebooks,
tiffin box and stationary items and
distributing them to all the
children consumed much of our time
during June.
-
Four students joined
their college course. Still some are
waiting to join their university
courses. Nearly fifty students
joined in Junior colleges in
different places. This June we had
to spend a lot on children’s
education.

Vaccination program
started on June 11. Dr. & Mrs. Mike
Webster had a great role in this
program. Our daughter Neva, third
year med student, too helped them
much in this programme. Until the
end of June this vaccination work
kept on going. Still there are some
late comers to be vaccinated. Our
daughter has the complete record of
this project. The Websters
were with us until the end of June
’07. We all were blessed by their
visit.

On 13th two more
ladies from USA joined the Websters.

Our youngest son
Bright came from USA on June 14 for
his summer vacation. He has been
helping us in every walk for the
welfare of the ICMC.

On 27th of this month
five students from Canada came to
the Promised Land and conducted a
HIV awareness program for two days.
It was useful to every one who
attended.

St. Basil School
children were taken to a local
circus on 29.06.’07. Everyone
enjoyed the circus.

We are so busy with
the arrangements of the 8th All
India Pastors’ Conference which will
be held in August. Please pray for
us continually.

Timothy school was
run for His glory in June.
-
Teacher Training
Board Exam result was published. Out
of 49 1 boy got failed and the other
got first class marks. We Praise God
for the same too. The Lord has been
so good to us.
-
On 30.06.’07 Bright
conducted a Youth Meeting at the
Promised Land. It was so fruitful to
every youth.
